Biblical principle from the passage: A biblical worldview embraces as fact that God exists and created everything including human beings, not the other way around. Everything began with and depends on Him. Further, the God of the Bible communicates with His creation, especially with people.

Related Verse(s): John 1:1-2; Exodus 20:11; 1 John 3:8

Prayer based on the passage or principle:

O Great, Creator God, thank You that You did all this by words from Your mouth. You said “Let there be ____.” and it was so, and You declared it all good or very good. You were also intimately involved with the human beings You created, individually forming them in Your image, breathing Your Spirit into them, assigning them meaningful tasks, giving them freedom of choice, instructions to follow, and warning them of the consequences of disobedience. When they did disregard Your instructions, You held each of them specifically accountable. You even referred to Your plan for the future, redeption. You lovingly removed them from the source of temptation so that their choice would not have a permanent, irrevocable result. Thank You, LORD, for being such an awesome God and Father. AMEN
