Whenever we are anxious over a strained relationship, seeking reconciliation, have been wronged or experienced a horrific attack causing us to want to retaliate, we should wrestle with God and seek His forgiveness and blessing.

Dear Sovereign LORD, thank You for healing broken relationships. Remind us to bring them to You instead of trying to work things out on our own motived by fear and distress. As we meet with You in prayer, may we emulate Jacob by declaring who You are, recalling Your commands, confessing our unworthiness, acknowledging Your kindness and faithfulness and reminding You of Your promises. I believe this is how we wrestle with You in prayer. Don’t let us give up until we receive a blessing or a sense of release from You. Then we will experience the answer to our prayers and rejoice and worship You declaring our God is God Almighty. Further, if we ask, You will show us how to respond honorably to the most vicious and evil attacks. In all situations may we seek to bring You glory, LORD. AMEN
